Chris Gannett believes business is the ultimate leverage point for global change — and that outsized returns are decided long before a deal closes, in the awareness, intention, resilience, and execution of the people who lead.
That conviction didn't come from a classroom. It came into focus after the successful completion of Apollo's acquisition of NASDAQ: CKXE — a transaction Chris helped shape while raising a young family in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
The work that followed speaks for itself. He has contributed to over $500M in M&A value, helped raise millions in capital, and been part of teams that earned Grammy and Emmy Awards, three Guinness World Records, three successful turnarounds, and two Gartner Magic Quadrant recognitions. Sony honored him with its CEO Award for Global Entrepreneurial Achievement. D Magazine named him to its 2026 Dallas 500.
What stayed with him most wasn't any of that. It was what he watched fail — and why.
The losses of the Covid era, including the death of his father, sharpened something already forming. In 2022, he founded Gannett.Partners to do the work upstream: building the awareness, communication, and operational discipline that determine outcomes before they're visible on a balance sheet — and to help the leaders who carry that weight drive real change in the companies and communities they serve.
